Welcome to ACTEX Online Courses

For thirty years, ACTEX has been providing quality educational materials to actuaries and actuarial students from around the world. Our commitment to quality has driven us to explore new alternatives to traditional learning. In the summer of 2005, we offered our first online course, hoping to meet the needs of students preparing for the VEE Applied Statistics requirement. When the Society of Actuaries approved the course for VEE credit later that year, we knew we were on the right track. We began to explore online learning as a study tool for other exams, as well.

Two years later, I am proud to say that we now offer not only the VEE Credit-Approved Online Course for Applied Statistics, but also online preparation courses for Exams P/1, FM/2, MFE, and MLC. ACTEX has become the preferred online course provider for hundreds of actuarial students.

Our commitment to continuous improvement and providing quality study materials has now led to the implementation of this new and improved forum. The new forum layout promotes efficiency. Students have the option of receiving email notification when their posts receive a response, as well as quickly searching the forum for specific topics. Additional support from the software developer ensures that student needs will continue to be met in the timely and professional manner that students have come to expect from ACTEX.
